Other places of interest
Visitors from nearby towns come to Lapog mainly for its beaches.  Thus, the tourism industry is at its peak during the summer months.  Lapogueños from other places, both here and abroad, come home to visit relatives during the Holy Week and Christmas Season and make up a large bulk of the tourist traffic.

Camindoroan and Solotsolot beach

The waters of Camindoroan and Solotsolot are popular swimming areas. Visitors and residents alike flock to these beaches especially during the summer months of March, April and May.  The shores are dotted with huts which are  good picnic sheds.  The shores of Camindoroan and Solotsolot also serve as camping grounds for girlscouts and boyscouts. Thus, the place is also called Scout Island.

Katib

The Katib Hotel and Beach Resort was built by the Northern Luzon Property Corporation in 1993 at Sitio Katib in Saoang and is the first resort that caters to tourists visiting San Juan. Visitors to the resort can stay overnight in air conditioned rooms.  Tourist traffic to the resort is heavy during Holy Week and Christmas Season when entire families from nearby towns, Lapogueños as well as their friends from other places stay for several days.  Residents of Lapog also bring their guests for overnight stay in the resort. The place is also a frequent venue of seminars and conferences.

Pikkang Falls

About 7 kilometers from the main (Maharlika) highway is the Pikkang Falls. One can reach the place after a 6-kilometer ride in a tricycle and a one kilometer trek.  It is relatively unspoiled with no major alterations to the natural look of the area which makes it an ideal place for eco-tourism. It is best to visit Pikkang Falls during rainy days because that's when one can enjoy the water flowing abundantly from the top.
